The longer we go without serious enforcement and effective nonpartisan
prosecution of laws, the more the observance of the law fades in the
distance in the minds of those contemplating malfeseance. The Congress
needs to step up soon to ensure that the law is enforced in the nonpartisan
manner the Constitution requires or an unstoppable wave of chaos will
ensue.
