Meanwhile, Qatar wants a contract/agreement on how the airport will be managed. Apparently, there were issues with management decisions. The trouble is, if such an agreement or contract were to issue, who would be the arbiter of dissents? The Taliban has no mechanism for impartial court systems etc., so obviously, some third party would have to be chosen. All of which goes to show just how incapable and unstable is the coalition of some 14 or more groups cobbled together to accomplish the takeover. Such issues need to be tackled before any foreign aid can come in or before any enterprise can be initiated.

Stop faulting America for withdrawing from Afghanistan, it was costing us 300 million dollars a day, we spent 20 years and 2 trillion dollars trying to stand Afghanistan up and it was a miserable failure. Our mistake was going in there in the first place but there's nothing to be done about that now. Hopefully, by now we've become hip to the creation of puppet/paper governments and "paycheck" armies as the means by which American's people are convinced that success is, if not already won, it's close at hand if only the military is given just a little more time. Puppet/paper governments only last until it's time to put their lives on the line at which point there's no ingrained ideological resolve to do anything at all. The "paycheck" army gets populated by men/women who need a paycheck because their installed government is the only game in town. They are there for the paychecks, not in support of any beliefs. They mouth whatever they are given to say by those in command however when it comes time to risk their lives in battle, the paycheck isn't worth fighting for so they lay down their arms and/or run away. The military-industrial complex has overplayed its hand and now it's being aced by a world populace that is not so easily fooled anymore.
This is why we can't have nice things
Obviously, not everyone would enjoy wearing white all the time so...
