Hitler took over Germany and destroyed their democracy all by legal means. Using his numbers in the legislature they prevented the legislature from passing any bills or doing any work and that got people so upset that to end the blockade they gave Hitler a high office which he used to get the military to set aside the constitution and pledge their loyalty to him personally. Next, the dictator fears the "intelligencia" the teachers, professors, scientists lawyers, historians, etc., and anyone with any scholastic abilities/knowledge.

Republican overreach is now into interference with interstate commerce which is Constitutionally the domain of Congress. I sincerely doubt that any court can side with the states' efforts to interfere with and/or regulate interstate commerce as they try to do with these rabid anti-abortion laws. As for their citizen "vigilante" efforts, I kinda think that's a wee tad risky since should a court, by verdict or otherwise, fail to support the citizen's efforts, that complainer is then open to recovery actions.

This is all much ado about nothing,, Elon thought he could own Twitter comfortably but he discovered he had opened a political pandora's box and now he's trying to slam it shut. Twitter, on the other hand wants or needs that money!
