Republicans are not interested in presenting more competitive candidates, because they have become a racially intolerant party. Being racially intolerant has led them to become rational and reason intolerant as well. The trouble with this is, if they should win and get to enforce their ideas of racial intolerance, racial intolerance will fade as their motivating cause and allow pure insanity to take over. America would become so mangled that we could no longer continue as a united nation, we would fracture and fragment and violently oppose each other. Our economy would not just suffer but it would be totally destroyed. Without our unity, our military won't be able to work to defend us and the world will be able to come in and take advantage of us by employing simple political expedients. Forget about individual rights, forget about personal property, if our American Experiment fails because of racial division, all else will be lost as well.

I would consider this a test of our Pandemic response abilities. Consider what our position would be if this pandemic were just a few percentages more deadly and perhaps more infectious/contagious. Judging by what we've seen, especially in "lower" communities, we'd be in very serious trouble. The third world would be a safe haven for the virus to spread and mutate, that could be a vector for one attack after another keeping us playing "wack-a-mole" with the viruses and resulting in massive losses of lives worldwide.
UPS knows where the hard-to-reach communities are, they could be either operating their own mobile vaccination squads or they could be providing guidance to those who are. Just a thought.
