The problem is that anti-LGBTQ people do not realize that sexuality
never stops developing, and as a consequence of that, ones genetically
created perception of their current sexuality is not always going to be
fixed throughout their life. You may start as CIS-gendered but
later in life discover that you are changing to LGBTQ or vice versa.
If you don't pay attention to this fact of life, you may find yourself
unable to deal with a change in your own sexuality if and when it occurs.
