The historical record shows that the pandemic will not be treated seriously enough until it is too late to do so. So, until a variant shows up that spreads wildly, evades vaccines, and proves itself to be much more deadly, possibly threatening the world as an "extinction-level event", the focus will be on maintaining and improving profitability with cosmetic interest in humanistic concerns, we will have to wait until we're all living in fear and hoping against hope that something might be done in time to save what's left of us. But, before you call my outlook pessimistic, you should read more history, my outlook is quite optimistic considering how the human race handles most problems during the last half dozen decades.
Forget Bobert, you wouldn't let her babysit your children, she clearly should not be in Congress where life and death decisions are being made.
