Even the most outrageously insane defense theory needs only a single racist/white supremacist on the jury to defeat the prosecution. This is one of the reasons that Putin judged that Trump would be a disaster for his nemesis
America. Our nation is shot through with white supremacists, hiding and in plain sight. The fact that Floyd had a white girlfriend is something that white supremacists hate and will do anything to disrupt the matter even if they have to kill to do it. I'd look for a link between Floyd and his killer, some where along the line he gained knowledge that Floyd had a white girlfriend and that so enraged him that he wanted to kill.
