Collection/separation must be kept as simple as possible at the consumer level. Plastic is dangerous to the environment and must be removed from the waste stream, I'd offer: Food Waste, Metal & Glass and Plastic, so that there's only 3 separate bins. Metal and glass are easily separated, while organic waste and plastic are not. Keeping it simple makes it user friendly.
