According to the mainstream media, people on line at the
airports are wondering why Congress is fighting so hard
over the principles of requiring government agencies to
honor our Constitutional rights. It seems that in their
estimation, people are more concerned about getting
their flights than whether or not the U.S. Constitution
is honored, and as if the impass were over nothing
of any real importance, they're failing to tell people
which party is against the supreme law of the land
being honored. That's right, the GOP is the one that
wants ICE to be able to ride roughshod over your
right to be free of unreasonable searches and seizures
by unidentified masked agents who are heavily armed
and can break down your door at any time of day or
night and take you into custody for being an illegal
alien, and if you are not, they can simply say "my
bad", and release you miles from your home without
any resources at your disposal and that's the end of
it. I'll leave it to you to decide whether or not the
fight is worth it and which side you are on. But
You should research the matter carefully if you
are in favor of having rights and wear one of those
red hats.
