If you are asked a question about a crime you have
already been convicted of, your protection against double
Jeopardy means you have no 5th Amendment protection
because the conviction provides some immunity so it must
be up to the judge to decide whether or not the 5th applies.
Even so, if the judge were to decide wrongly, the
subject would still have a judicially granted immunity.
Of course, this would make questioning tedious, but
depending on the value it might be worth the effort.
