You see? This is why Republicans do not want you to read or educate
yourselves. After the Emancipation Proclamation was signed into law,
The bigoted whites in the South had to find a way to keep black people
down, lest they succeed and prove themselves to be the equal of whites
and in some cases, their betters, because of slavery, they knew that black
People were industrious, hard-working, and intelligent. The answer they
came up with was to brand blacks as criminals with spurious rumors and
claims of criminal acts they blamed on black people. That allowed them
to use the color of law to disguise their true intentions, and now, Donald
J. Trump is back using that playbook against "Others," and America's
racists and bigots are onboard for it, except they believed there were
limits that would preserve their benefits. Bigotry and Racism have no
limits, "in for a penny, in for a pound!" Allow the "cover story," and
you've signed on for the ride. Long story short, you all fell for it again!
