They may try to "smooth" things over, but...
The level of mistrust will be legion on both sides.
Trump would rather spend Elon's money instead of his own,
and Elon needs Trump's power to enhance his bank account.
But both men, using each other while trying to get the other
under his thumb, does not make for a very good or stable
relationship.
