If the court were to rule against
nationwide injunctions, then its ability to mediate disputes, meant to be
a modern replacement for violent engagements; would be reduced to
a mere delaying tactic. Unless the court wants to be called a "trick of
evasion", they must retain power to effectively mediate disputes in
a timely and meaningful fashion.
