Remember: The 5th amendment only protects one in a criminal trial
where it says that one cannot be compelled to be a witness against
themselves. The key word here is "compelled", if one goes to any
public or other forum and is not "compelled" then one is considered
to have volunteered evidence against themselves, then that is probably
admissible, because they have the right to volunteer evidence against
themselves. The court will test any offers to ensure that the admissions
were in fact voluntary and not coerced or somehow compelled.
