Well, AI experiments show that people who process information incorrectly become racist/white supremacists because they cannot discern the appropriate from the inappropriate information. My guess is that this would cause them to see the world as an insolvable conundrum where the only "escape" to make sense of the world can be found in mysticism and various forms of lunatic and contrived belief systems that are easy to understand because they offer simplistic "solutions" rather than the ever more complex problems better mentally equipped people are aware that the world actually presents.
