Trump got away with his crap because "WE THE PEOPLE" let him, we stood by quietly and did nothing while he challenged our freedoms and our rights and ignored our Consitution. We did not march in the streets when he called our military dead "suckers and losers" we didn't get upset when he did things that destroyed our sensibilities. We did march against Police misconduct but we leave Presidential misconduct alone. Trump has lived his entire life on lies and deception, why would we expect him to change? While Washington insiders accepted the most outrageous fare as "normal/acceptable", or merely complained and went silent or raised no issue because their individual purposes were being served by injustices/stupidity.
