This is precisely why prosecutors have immunity. If not then no process could go forward without USSC approval and that is a totally insane concept.
One must remember that Trump has terrified the worlds best legal talent and therefore his legal team is now far from the best. That probably explains the weak and watery efforts they mount on his behalf.
