Remember, during the impeachment "trial" in the Senate, Moscow Mitch and other Republican Senators had to admit that the impeachment managers had made their case and that Trump was guilty of the conduct as charged, they then went on to say that, they didn't believe that conduct rose to the level sufficient to justify impeachment and removal from office, so they dismissed the articles of impeachment and the Chief Justice let them do it without hearing a single witness testify or reviewing any of the evidence/documents or other material.
