Earlier I guessed that, by his actions, he had spoken to Putin.  Today I'm watching these videos and what do you know?  Some newsman says that before his photo op at the church, he had actually spoken to Putin.  Go figure, eh?  Putin knows how much trouble it would cause to threaten to use military force against citizens of a democratic republic/rule of law society.  So, I can only imagine how thrilled and tickled Putin must have been to hear Trump's militaristic remarks.
