Of course they only allowed republican witnesses,  how else could they pull off this farce without having it undone in their faces?  They don't care that fact checkers will tear this stuff to pieces within secondes of utterance later.  They're going for sound bites that can be played on Faux Nooze.  

Well, it's a fools errand as 3% of that 44% that Trump has been holding onto, has finally gotten the message they're being conned so Trump has dropped to 41% and I suspect many Republican Senators are in serious trouble themselves.
