The effect of all this being covered up and excused by the Republican held Congress, is that America went unprotected from our attacker, because Republicans were more concerned with holding their seats, than they are about the welfare of our nation . To bad they loved what Russia was t doing to us, because it dove tailed neatly with Republican agendas. The Russians were seeking to use our darkest thoughts against us. They weaponized white supremacy, discrimination and racism. They sought to use greed and avarice against us an Republicans were glad to help. They reveled in mendacity, unethical behaviour and obstruction. If it was a negative that could be used against America the Republican party was behind it in spades with flags flying.
