Homeschooling Becomes the Choice for Black Families Who Want to Protect Kids from Institutional Racism

*Did you know that as many as  220,000 African American children are currently being home-schooled?

According to the National Home Education Research Institute Black families are doing what many white families have been doing for quite some time. But the reasons for the decision is different.
White families often cite religious differences or even political reasons for the home-schooling choice, Black families are doing it to protect their precious children from institutional racism.
