The "old guard" in Congress was used to a time
when the monied stayed out of sight in the background and
had the good sense to not advocate for unseemly things
but couch their desired agendas in the robes of public good.
The Neuvo rich threw that all out the window and shamelessly
advocated brazenly for themselves alone.
