Tucker was there as Trump's emissary because Trump needs Putin's financial
support, that's why Tucker couldn't do anything to upset Putin. Putin wasn't
moved, he knows sycophancy when he sees it and so he subjected Tucker
to some humiliation to see how strong his hand is. He will try to help Trump
but only from the background, he knows the jig is up so he doesn't want
to be seen overtly engaging. Next Trump will try MBS but there isn't much
hope there because MBS must play the long game from here on because
of the blood on his hands. Nobody sees Trump as a winner.
