Trump's rants on NATO and the border are demoralizing the hardcore
MAGAs because they're realizing that Trump is repelling rather than
attracting the independents without which they cannot hope to win
Since there's no way Trump can shed his ignorance or even stick
to a script, there's no chance he can control himself enough to widen
his support, so this is a lose-lose situation that is demoralizing for
his hard-core supporters who are staying home rather than be seen
in public with their loser hats and flags.
