Private prisons must be made illegal because they are not impartial custodians
of prisoners. They have a massive conflict of interest and so, unless we're intending
to build a prison state, private prisons are not to be allowed at all. They benefit
from crime and the extension of the detained. Thus they benefit from the worst
incentives imaginable and will seek to hire those who can best facilitate both.
