These pundits are not lawyers and so while they speculate about the kinds
of claims Trump might make in his defense, they forget that to do so Trump
would have to take the stand and expose himself to cross-examination under
oath and risk perjuring himself adding to his already mountainous woes.
Even as bad as the lawyers are that Trump is left with, are under no illusion
that they can succeed by putting Trump on the witness stand. Thus, Trump
has no defense against the mountain of evidence he has
created.
