The proof of the pudding is that Trump lent aid and comfort to the
insurrectionists. He spoke on behalf of them carrying arms at the
elipse and he offered to accompany them to the Capitol assault.
He also spoke in their favor in the media and offered them
instructions to "stand back and stand by" on national television.
