I wish there was more calming applause than "rock concert" hooting but
that's what we have today where nothing is solemn. But, that aside
what we are losing is our stability and we're losing it because one
side of our body politics has lost its patience and refuses to wait
for what it wants, hoping to achieve its goals or further its agenda
by persuasion and therefore has decided to resort to force and coercion
and trickery. Emotion over reason is to be our undoing.
