Trump believes that everyone is abysmally stupid, too stupid to
figure out how to tell that he has lied, so he keeps lying because
so far he hasn't seen any consequences, the worst he's seen is
doubtfulness. His words should be dismissed out of hand/immediately
upon being uttered because his record of truthfulness is so outlandishly
weak.
