This Sociopathic Republican Is The New Normal

The purpose of the 2nd amendment was to gain the approval of the new Consitution by the southern states who feared a loss of their gun rights would outlaw their militias whose purpose was to hunt runaway slaves.  In the South, men were required by law to serve in slave-hunting militias a few days each month or when called. This is why the amendment says: "A well ordered militia being necessary..." as if all states needed militias, but not all states did because not all states lived in fear of losing their slave populations or feared they would rebel. Only southern states where slaves were mistreated, starved and worked to death, and sexually exploited needed to fear slave rebellions.
