I see the Judge in Calif. decided that about 10 of Eastman's documents did not have to be turned over, which complicates Merrick Garland's efforts to punish Eastman as requested by the J-6 committee. Still I think a front-line prosecutor would have let the matter go to trial.
But, since Trump is no longer President, the judge needs to ask Biden if he wants to assert the privilege before holding that any documents can be blocked. Because this
Sets the precedent that the privilege does not belong to the current President but that the President is overruled by "relevance" of some sort.
