I read it as Putin caving in, he's now seeking a face-saving way of pulling out. (So Trump can pull up his pants?! LOL!) I say it's time to hit Putin with some demands of our own or rather Ukraine's own. Although many Russians believe Putin's line, the devastated economy coupled with his heavy-handed shuttering of the media says he's made some kind of very big mistake he's struggling to conceal. While Putin has begun to realize that he can't keep this up for very long before he takes on unacceptable political damage.
