Really juvenile he thinks we don't know that the Taliban isn't unified and is undisciplined. It's made up of factions that Kabul cannot exert sufficient control over to make their offers, agreements, and contracts trustworthy. They seem to think that nice words can paper over untrustworthiness and other ills that prevent the world from committing resources to them. They've got a lot to learn about governing a nation and I'm afraid there will not be enough time for them to do so and avert the onrushing disaster.
