China will succeed with "honey" what others failed to accomplish with "vinegar". China will use them to extract rare earths and other mineral wealth while the Taliban struggles to obtain help to govern. The Taliban will be held hostage to China's intellectual and technological might. A tender trap from which there is little if any chance to escape while Chine tightens its grip.
