Show of hands: How many people think that a one-party system will be a panacea? Does anyone think that the party forced from power will ever be given a chance to regain it? If only one party writes all the laws and that party does not care about the common good, what do you envision will be the overall result? Could how other countries are faring under such a system be a clue?
