Also, should it be determined that the Trump was, in fact, guilty of a crime, even if not indicted/convicted, before he issued a pardon, such pardons must be invalidated! The U.S. Government cannot be bound by the pardons and other acts committed by a criminal President.

Could Trump be removed for inciting supporters to storm Capitol? | DW News
Can anyone imagine the chaos and turmoil if, instead of lying about marching with them, the Trump had actually been in front leading the armed crowd to the capitol building? What a state of confusion would have captured the capitol police and other LEO's there to assist. This is why The Trump must have his powers suspended and/or him removed from office.
