This flip flopping reveals the Presidents childlike mental state. He's working with very childish elements (bribery) in very childlike ways (You want money? Then vote for me! Uh oh the market is tanking, okay I'll give you some money.) Not one adult like thought about what happens after the child gets his way. Not one adult like thought that maybe his past actions have any impact on what people might think about how his next term might work out. Of course there's no calculation on how trust might impact the views of his offers. All just childish "this for that", here and now. Trump is losing what little mind he had left.
