Former RNC Chairman: ‘We Should Be Afraid Of Trump’ | Stephanie Ruhle | ...

Trumps tone deaf responses to protests only portend that if he's reelected he'd make matters much worse by fanning the flames of dissent.  His penchant to respond to protests with violence and his newly empowered supremacists would only make for a more volatile and dangerous nation. Trump is the President now and he has been President when the protests started and it is his rightwing supremacist who are provoking and escalating the violence.  It's an old political trick to send people into the peaceful protests to foment and cause/commit acts of violence/property damage, to create a reason for law enforcement to attack.  You and your group are marching peacefully, when some strangers join the march and begin throwing things at the police, setting fires, breaking store windows and begin looting.  So much so for your peaceful demonstration and,  politicians can take advantage of the disorder to claim themselves to be "law and order" advocates.  It usually works because few are able to investigate the violent actors.
