Jared Kushner Security Clearance Rejection Overruled By Trump Appointee ...

What you have to realize about these clearances is, it's a "life and death matter" In many cases the regular security clearances often cover matters involving national security that reveals sources of information and that could and does put people at risk.

Then there's the SCI (secret compartmentalized information. and that is the most serious secret info that the government has bar none. It, not only reveals sources, who are undercover around the world, but military plans and operations. A leak of this information has serious and very deadly consequences not only for our sources, but for our troops as well.

A slip up here could cost the lives of an entire squad on a mission. Or endanger an entire intelligence operation, exposing all involved to enemy capture, torture and execution.

Trump is playing childish games with the lives of our service people! That is terribly intolerable to all Americans.

Republicans and Democrats alike need to remedy this immediately or there's no other choice but to suspend all operations and recall all spies and troops around the world. Obviously doing one or the other is not a reasonable choice.

To my shock, horror and amazement, near the end of the video the guest tries to explain this as some sort of rational paper push, on account of the overwhelming number of checks needed to clear incoming staff because of their extraordinary number of business ties worldwide.

So that's all the consideration you deserve if you're putting your life on the line overseas? You could be sent to an excruciating death because someone in Washington needs to move paper more quickly?

I'll bet the CIA is on pins and needles over this. I'm far removed from the fray and I won't sleep well over this, knowing that the next morning news could be of some terrible international intelligence disaster. Much like the scramble to move operatives and assets out of harm's way when Valerie Plame was outed. We're on a road to destruction and Mitch and friends are holding the barn door open until all the horses have left.

While there is nothing illegal here, because the President has the power to make these appointments. He has made appointments he should not have made and that has allowed our national secrets most sensitive, to be handed over to people not either entitled or qualified to handle them.

We do not know which of these 30 people, with interests all over the world, are either compromised or might seek to ingratiate themselves, for business or financial gain, by using or releasing our top secrets.

Trump has placed America in great danger. He has endangered our CIA and FBI agents, operatives, assets and sources. Only Putin could not be more pleased. He doesn't have to capture "James Bond" because Trump is handing him over, along with the rest of the country and our Republican officials are helping him do it.
