2nd week of October, 2018

One of the benefits of the Kanye West spectacle is that supremacists now can't simply use skin color to decide who to attack. Since Trump needs all the help he can get. Most especially from any black fans to help him cover up his views on matters of race.

Meanwhile, the improving economy that began under Obama, which continued to grow under Trump, has finally begun to slow.  Anyone who thinks that buffoonery and clownsmanship will save the day, has a decidedly partisan bend to their way of thinking. Already cracks in American armour are appearing. The relationship between the CIA and the State Department, usually allow us to avoid the kinds of problems we now face with Saudi's. But with State still under staffed, with many of the best and brightest staff gone and replaced with neophyte political syncopants. Expect more US plans to unravel.

When Democrats tried to warn that a lack of expertise in government affairs, at this point in time would lead to regrettable difficulties. We were called partisan. No matter we just wanted to warn against appointing novices instead of keeping the experts we already had. But no, Trump went ahead and dismissed them anyway.

Now that he needs experts they are not around. They will not engage in the atmosphere of chaos and recriminations going on amid all the silliness and possible criminal investigations Trump, himself has caused by impulsive actions and failure to heed expert advice.

If things continue going south, I don't see where one can have any confidence that this administration can turn things around.
