Will American Democracy Survive?
Hitler took over Germany and destroyed their democracy all by legal means. Using his numbers in the legislature they prevented the legislature from passing any bills or doing any work and that got people so upset that to end the blockade they gave Hitler a high office which he used to get the military to set aside the constitution and pledge their loyalty to him personally. Next, the dictator fears the "intelligencia" the teachers, professors, scientists lawyers, historians, etc., and anyone with any scholastic abilities/knowledge.
