As Impeachment Advances, What Will Republicans Do? | All In | MSNBC
Bill Clinton's "impeachment" was fashioned around marital infidelity. From the various Republican transgressions we've seen over the years, marital infidelity isn't a reason to swallow hard or loosen your tie. As far as the "perjury" it has, for centuries, been expected that men would not tell and thereby preserve a woman's honor. Clinton's "perjury" was the time honored lie that men are traditionally expected to make.
