While I understand your ire, I also understand that the media has been caught lying and/or misleading us time after time. By the time we discover we've been lied to, by the time we get the media's "Oops/my bad", it's too late to do much about it because the damage is done. The NYT had a story about Trump's connection to Russia and instead, they chose to print a story about Hillary's emails. Trump wins the election and begins to dismantle America, please explain why or how we can get the truth we can trust in time to act on it? Of course those who can think critically know better than to accept or act on uncorroborated info, many do not and are destroying our institutions,
