When people stay away from the malls and eat more meals at home, restaurants are the weakest market sector and many bars and restaurants will close throwing large amounts of vacant real estate on the market. Like a snowball rolling down hill, investors must expect the worst because when their money is gone, it's a terribly difficult effort to get it all back.
