Just imagine our Congress being without the power to stop the President from taking us to war for any reason he chooses. If Nixon had the powers that the Republicans are about to bestow on Trump, he could never have been impeached nor forced to end the Viet-Nam war. We'd probably be at war with Iran now because no one could stop him.
