When you learn, from an early age, that faith alone is all that is needed
to form and hold onto a belief, there should be no wonder that your
belief that evidence is needed is discredited before you begin. Of course
America would not have worked and could not work if there was no
belief and/or need for evidence to back up or substantiate claims our
courts could not settle claims and only violence could decide issues,
but, unfortunately just winning by battle does not mean the winner
is either right or justified. Reliance on fighting is what holds back
progress of all types. You would not want to live in nations where
that is the practice and that is the source of our immigration problems.
