McCarthy said that he wants to wait until Santos is formally convicted,
ignoring the fact that Santos has already publicly admitted that
he is guilty of committing these crimes as charged. Why would
anyone allow an admitted criminal to serve until a formal conviction
is obtained? It's just abominable gamesmanship that has no
place in a deliberative legislative body, Meanwhile, they are
focusing on public urination while battle weapons are enabling
mass killers to kill men, women, and children even while they
speak. We have a real problem with our legislators.
