They seem to think that sham investigations does something to
bolster their case, but Americans have real needs and this stupidity
does nothing to put together the bipartisan support needed to pass
any real legislation. People were "paid to stay at home" because
there was a deadly pandemic killing people and there was no cure
in sight at the time. Lockdowns were needed to keep people alive
but Republicans fought to keep the disease spreading by challenging
the only defenses the medical community could give us.
