Ana Kasparian: THIS Was Putin's Plan All Along

My theory is that Putin has misjudged things because he was alone in formulating the plan and making the decision to invade.  His Generals would not have been happy with sending soldiers into an invasion without telling them they were going to war.  Managing a war/invasion is as much a management of morale as it is management of weapons and logistics.  By himself, Putin would have seen consideration of the problems the plan entailed as resistance/rejection instead of practical considerations, thus he could not be told that his plans would be projected to result in massive losses and be unlikely to achieve the sought-for objective.  Now that the moment of truth has arrived and exposed the shortcomings in ways that cannot be either ignore or explained away, Putin is in a pickle of a dangerous sort because if he should lose power over this miscalculation he is unlikely to survive the results.
